The D'Vine Chronicle

Sixteen years of stewardship,
through flood and silence.

  1. 2009

    A dream takes root

D'Vine opens its doors in Cypress with a single hope: that a small, well-curated wine bar could grow into a gathering place — a corner of Houston where wine becomes conversation.

  2. 2017

    Hurricane Harvey

When the storm came, the neighborhood held us upright. We reopened with the help of regulars who became family — resilience became our defining vintage.

  3. 2020

    Through the silence

COVID tested every restaurant in the country. D'Vine adapted — bottles to-go, virtual tastings, hand-delivered pairings — and the community kept showing up.

  4. 2018

    Construction at the doorstep

Years of road construction blocked our access. We stayed open through it, refusing to let the work outside become a wall between guests and the cellar.

  5. Today

A thriving family ownwed wine staple in Cypress, Texas

Sixteen years in, D'Vine stands as an outlier in greater Houston — still independent, still pouring, still building community one bottle at a time.

Good wine. Better company.
